The kinetic sculpture Dialogue is the successor for the work Hypergradient (2016) by Andreas Lutz, expanding the idea of a communicating abstract machine into a dialogue situation. While movements and light (language of the abstract machines) are driven based on the machine-created semiotic system Abstract Language Model, the installation consists of two kinetic sculptures facing each other. The visitor can observe the dialogue or join the communication by walking in between the two machines.
