"Videotool" is a specialized software solution for creating, adjusting and rendering formal consistent visual sequences across a broad variety of video demands.

Software

The “Videotool” application for both, the Mac and the Windows platform, is a comprehensive tool for creating, adjusting and rendering a formal consistent visual sequence. By importing a video sequence, the user can choose between three options (“Opener”, “Ending” and “Dealerships”), which can be added to this video. Depending on the video footage, he now can choose between two color options, a country-specific vendor claim and adjust the vendor logo within the defined visual defaults. With the option “Dealerships” an address for a local vendor branch can be included as well.

Based on the open source library FFmpeg, the application supports most standard and professional video codecs (Uncompressed RGB, ProRes, H.264 et al.), various resolutions (360p up to 8K), ratios (landscape and portrait) and frame rates (23.976fps up to 60fps) to support a broad variety of global video demands (TV, Cinema, Digital Video). The visual and sonic options are automatically aligned to the specifications of the imported video and subsequently can be rendered as a TIFF image sequence or as an uncompressed MOV video for further use in post production settings. Furthermore, the user can export the final video with H.264 encoding for instant use on digital video platforms.
