KASUGA is an interdisciplinary studio.
Active in the experimental field of design, interaction and sound, the spectrum of their work range from installations for and with spaces, soundscapes, physical objects, software and audio-visual experiences. Beside commercial projects, the studio initiates and develops contemporary media art pieces.
Among others, the studio's work was exhibited at the ZKM in Karlsruhe (Germany), the National Art Center Tokyo (Japan), the OpenArt Biennale in Örebro (Sweden) and won the Excellence Award at the 19th Japan Media and Arts Festival.

Excellence Award at Japan Media Arts Festival

The video installation "Wutbürger" was awarded by Japan Media Arts Festival with an Excellence Award in the Art section. The installation will be exhibited during the festival in February 2016 at the National Art Center in Tokyo.

Multiple honours for LICHTGESTALTEN

The interactive installation and App „LICHTGESTALTEN“, which we developed together with KMS Team from Munich received multiple awards in the last few month including Cannes Design Lion, ADC Germany, Red Dot Award, DDC Award, The FWA.

Interactive Installation for KMS Team

Based on SVAGBOX, we developed the interactive installation »LICHTGESTALTEN« for KMS Team. Using only gestures, visitors can intuitively interact and create a distinctive graphic expression. The installation was exhibited at Villa Stuck in Munich.
