BMW Intuitive Sphere
Interactive installation

As one of the first car manufacturers, BMW integrated gestural based interaction for executing simple tasks in the car’s cockpit while driving. KASUGA was commissioned to develop an interactive installation based on these specific four gestures, to demonstrate the intuitive features of touchless interaction in an exhibition setting. When the visitor steps in front of the screen, he gets recognized and shown instructions, how to interact with the installation. By swiping to the right, he confirms and continues to the main view, where he can choose from different topics. These topics can be launched, and — after viewing the specific content — closed by a simple gesture.
